::Areas of Research::

Natural Language Processing is a vast area and here at CRBLP we are working on diversified research projects. Research works at CRBLP (NLP Research area) can be broadly classified into four main classes:

• Text Analysis
  
• Speech Processing
  
• Document Image Processing
• Document authoring
• Computational Linguistics
• Information Retrieval
  

Currently different project teams are working on different areas. We have teams working on Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Speech Recognition, Text to Speech Conversion, Bangla Spell Checking and Transliteration, Font Conversion and some others. Work has been done extensively on some of the projects like the ones mentioned earlier and we have already released Stable Working Applications, while some projects are mostly research works. The research works were mostly done by our enthusiastic Intern Students who have been able to publish papers on several conferences.
