Practice. Practice. Practice.
You should be getting enough practice prior the actual driving test. Use it as a learning experience. As soon as you feel comfortable driving behind the wheel of the car, that is when you know that you are prepared and ready.
Try practicing in the car as much as possible before taking the test. However, you need to know that every car drives slightly different and it is essential to be comfortable in the car you’re using. Always remember this when you are preparing for the driving test.
Honest Feedback Only
As you are driving around, regardless of who your partner is, get their feedback of your driving. Let them know that this is a great time to be true and transparent. Ask them to jot down things that you have done incorrectly from failing to use the turn signals, not seeing blind spots, incorrect lane change and everything in between.
When practicing, it is best you find empty parking lots. If you do, then bring a couple of orange cones so you may set it up for performing parallel parking.
